We are in search of a founding member to take the role of Senior Credit Officer. This individual should be passionate about business leading and can help us develop a risk culture through their skills and knowledge.

Able to wear multiple hats and navigate challenging scenarios.

5+ years’ experience with Business lending as a credit manager/officer (Small business and mid-market) within a bank or non-bank lender.

Identifying key processes that can be standardised and automated.

Able to understand the market and develop credit frameworks, policies, and strategies.

Conducting risk assessments and engaging with stakeholders for optimal outcomes.

Portfolio monitoring and reporting.

Experience in HTML/ CSS

Exposure to JavaScript

2-3 years experience working in Laravel Framework

MySQL Database experience

Exposure to AWS deployment

Previous exposure to working with API integration.

Able to develop APIs and document them.

Minimum Education: bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent

1-2 years experience as a Data scientist

Strong Python Skills

Able to develop APIs

Mine and analyse data from company databases.

Strong mathematical & numeracy skills.

Working advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, distributions, statistical tests)

Develop A/B testing framework and test model quality.

Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests)

Ability to set up data infrastructure
